Assistant Athletic Trainer
Gannon University, a Catholic University, invites applications for an Assistant Athletic Trainer. This is a full-time 12-month position. Gannon's athletic program includes 23 varsity sports, in which 18 sports compete at the NCAA Division II level. Successful candidates will provide preventative care, rehabilitation and athletic trainer services for all Varsity/JV contests and practices for intercollegiate sports. The Assistant Athletic Trainer will also serve as the primary liaison to academic departments in directing and supervising graduate assistant athletic trainers, athletic training students and work-study students. Candidates must be able to support Gannon's Mission.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine or a related field (master's preferred); NATABOC certification; Commonwealth of Pennsylvania certification or eligible for Pennsylvania certification. A minimum of one-to-three years of experience is preferred for the Assistant position.
