DAPER is currently accepting applications for the position of Database and CRM Analyst. This position reports to the Business Strategy Analyst within the External Relations department of DAPER. The Business Strategy department provides business insights using analytics and helps teams drive new initiatives and solutions forward. As a Database and CRM Analyst, you will manage the Salesforce CRM environment, collaborate with stakeholders across a variety of Athletics business units to enhance the department’s data collection and hygiene efforts, identify, research and implement tools to optimize data quality and access, and design reports and measurements to gauge the effectiveness of various initiatives.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
*Responsible for the creation of ticket sales and marketing campaigns in Salesforce. *Regularly maintain the Salesforce environment, including but not limited to refreshing page layouts, updating and adding custom fields, and building automated processes. *Develop an onboarding process and train new Salesforce users. *Provide timely technical support for end users and conduct QA testing for integrated vendors, as needed. *Manage the flow of information from ticketing to marketing automation, Salesforce CRM, data warehouse and visualization layer. *Collaborate with the Marketing department to plan, implement and measure lead generation campaigns. *Assist in the development of a data governance strategy for various department-wide data domains, including, but not limited to: tickets, development, sponsorship, marketing, digital and video. *Coordinate the development and execution of customer data hygiene and enhancement strategies.
Ability to learn new systems and tools quickly.
At least 1 year of professional experience as a Salesforce administrator or similar, relevant experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and HTML.
Strategic thinking that can drive multiple, concurrent projects to completion.
Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels of the athletics department.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
Passion for and strong desire to work in college athletics.
BA/BS degree with quantitative or technical concentration.
Salesforce Certified Administrator and experience with migration to Salesforce Lightning is a plus.
Proficiency with visualization and reporting software is preferred, but not required if candidate demonstrates ability to quickly learn and become proficient.
Experience analyzing large data sets, database query experience (e.g. SQL), statistical or quantitative modeling.
Experience with data warehouses and data visualization tools.
Experience working with sales or marketing teams in a related technical field.
Knowledge of marketing campaigns, digital tracking tags and measurement tools.
Experience using data and analytics to drive business outcomes.
