Wright State University, an NCAA Division I institution and member of the Horizon League, invites applications for the current position of Assistant Track & Field and Cross Country Coach. The successful candidate for this position will have a background in the sprints and jumps as well as a willingness to learn and coach other event areas. The incumbent will assist the head coach in all aspects of a collegiate Track & Field and Cross Country program, including, but not limited to, recruitment of qualified student-athletes, monitoring academic progress toward degree, budgeting, scheduling, competition and practice preparation, individual and team development, fundraising, and community activity. The incumbent must fulfill these duties while adhering to all rules, guidelines, and principles as set forth by the NCAA, the Horizon League, and Wright State University.
Req’d: Bachelor’s degree and previous coaching & recruiting experience.
