Thiel College is seeking applicants for Intern Assistant Men’s and Women's Soccer Coaches.
The primary responsibility of these positions will be to assist the Head Coaches in all facets of the soccer program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting head coaches in all aspects of running a collegiate soccer program, recruiting, game day management, coaching training sessions, film break down, coaching reserve team (if applicable). monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes, and additional responsibilities as assigned by the Head Coaches and/or Director of Athletics.
Candidates must be self-motivated, possess strong communication skills, solid organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills, knowledge of the game, and the ability to identify and attract quality student-athletes to the College.
The successful candidates must adhere to all NCAA, conference, and institutional guidelines, policies, and rules. Demonstrate professional behavior. At all times promote the soccer program and Thiel College in a positive way to the campus community, outside community, high school coaches, and recruits. Exhibit loyal, supportive, and cooperative behavior to the head coaches, the soccer program, and the College.
Applicants are required to have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and prior collegiate playing experience. Coaching experience in a club and/or high school and a coaching license are preferred.
These 10-month positions include a stipend, housing, meals, and health benefits, as well as professional development opportunities.
