The Head Women's Tennis Coach is responsible for the management and administration of all phases of the women’s tennis program in a manner that upholds the philosophy and objectives of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This position is also responsible for promoting the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program, including adherence to all department policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, Pac-12 Conference, and the NCAA.

Minimum Requirements • Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution. • Five years collegiate or professional coaching or playing experience. • Proven experience working with and improving the performance of elite tennis athletes. • Demonstrated successful leadership experience. • Track record of strong commitment to a positive student-athlete experience and ensuring student-athlete welfare is paramount.
Professional Competencies • Excellent written, interpersonal and oral communication skills. • The successful candidate must have the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff and students from a variety of diverse backgrounds and a demonstrated dedication to the full academic and social development of student-athletes. • Knowledge of NCAA rules and interpretations.
Preferred Qualifications • Division I, Power 5 collegiate coaching experience. • Experience as a Division I student-athlete. • Proven competitive success within an NCAA Division I post-season team.
