Alvernia University, located in Reading, Pennsylvania, is accepting applications for the Graduate Assistant in Sports Information.
The Sports Information Graduate Assistant works with the Sports Information Director and Assistant Sports Information Director and is responsible for tracking community engagement fulfillment of 28 Athletics teams and clubs, developing press releases and story ideas on student-athletes, oversee production of game day programs, and other appropriate activities. The Graduate Assistant will also serve as a spotter and/or inputter for live stats at games, help maintain the department website, and file appropriate reports, nominations, and submissions to the NCAA, ECAC, and Middle Atlantic Conference.
A Bachelor’s degree and acceptance into the Alvernia University graduate school are requirements. Undergraduate work experience in sports information is preferred.
