The University of Arkansas at Little Rock invites nominations and applications for the position of Assistant Athletic Business Manager (R96879). Under the general supervision of the Sr. Associate Athletic Director – CFO, the Assistant Athletic Business Manager is a twelve month position and will be responsible for assisting the Sr. Associate Athletic Director – CFO to ensure that all appropriate NCAA, University and State policies and procedures are met. All duties and responsibilities are governed by state, federal and university policy.
Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: serving as the accounts payable manager for the Athletic Department (travel authorizations, purchase orders, p-cards, travel cards, revolving travel fund etc.; Assisting in the reconciliation of University and foundation transactions monthly; Maintaining and reconciling concessions start fund which will include working at men’s & women’s basketball, men’s wrestling, women’s volleyball and women’s soccer home games; Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays is required; Assisting with the creation of the annual NCAA Agreed Upon Procedures Report; Compliance with all NCAA, Sun Belt Conference and institutional regulations; Other duties as assigned from the Sr. Associate Athletic Director – CFO.
Required Education and Experience: The successful candidate should possess a bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting, finance, business management or a related field.
Preferred Education and Experience: A master degree is preferred. Experience working in Athletic Department is preferred.
