Huntingdon College, a private liberal arts college of the United Methodist Church with 164 years of history, is accepting applications for the hiring of an intern assistant women’s soccer position.
Purpose: To effectively complete the duties specified by the head coach in a way that helps the assistant gain valuable experience at the collegiate level.
Responsibilities: GKs Experience (Preferred). Train GKs effectively. Able to work alone with the goalkeepers. Provide feedback to student-athlete.
Video: Set up video for all games and upload to program use by program. Use the scouting software effectively. Provide feedback on proper video equipment to use.
Social Media: Twitter. Instagram. Other.
Other: Willing to learn in a fast pace environment. Student academic planning meetings. Organize travel when needed. Data entry. Microsoft Office Proficiency. Potential to earn extra money with club and camps.

Bachelor’s degree is required. The successful candidate must be committed to the NCAA D3 philosophy and the role of athletics within a private, liberal arts college. GK playing or coaching experience at the college level is Preferred. Salary will be $6,000/year plus room & board. The position is an intern positions with no benefits. The successful completion of a background check will be required before employment is finalized. August 1, 2018 start date is preferred.
