The Head Coach, Women's Softball is responsible for the overall management of the program. This position must adhere to all budgetary guidelines, as well as NCAA, Mid-American Conference and University of Toledo policies. This position is also responsible for the actions of all assistant coaches and administrators who report, directly or indirectly. This position will promote an atmosphere of compliance within the program and will monitor the activities of all assistant coaches and administrators involved with the program who report, directly or indirectly. The Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of practice and competition preparation, recruitment of student athletes, and the comprehensive operation of the program with student athlete welfare as a guiding principle.
Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years coaching experience at the college or professional level are required.
-Demonstrated knowledge of the rules and regulations of the MAC and the NCAA -Attention to details -Ability to multi-tasks and work in a fast-paced environment -Excellent organizational and administrative skills -Excellent verbal, written and oral communication on all levels. -Ability to represent the department and University in a friendly, courteous and professional manner -Ability to respond to emergency situations in a timely manner -Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other office equipment -Demonstrated professional conduct and ethical behavior at all times
