The University of Akron is a NCAA Division I FBS institution and member of the Mid-American Conference is seeking application for a part-time Video Production Assistant. This position will assist the Director of the Zips Digital Network in the production of all athletics multimedia content.
Produce multimedia content including video board content, coaches shows, television ads, social media video packages and live-event web streaming.
Write scripts, produce highlight videos, game day videos and hype videos.
Oversee student staff to ensure complete coverage of department's video needs.
Assist in the maintenance of all video equipment as needed.
Assist with the handling of all media, institution and internal request for footage and coordinate video archives for each sport.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Relevant Bachelor's Degree
Minimum of one-year working knowledge of technical camera work and/or post production experience
