Eastern Connecticut State University is accepting applications for the position of Head Men’s Baseball Coach. This is a full-time, 10-month position, and the coach will have a second responsibility within the Department of Athletics, currently as an event manager. The Head Coach will be responsible for the leadership and oversight of a program which has garnered four NCAA national championships and is focused on excellence at the national level. Candidates should have a proven ability to develop a highly competitive baseball program, with a strong commitment to the student-athlete experience.
Specific duties will include, but are not limited to: recruiting and retention of student-athletes, practice and game preparation and coaching, supervision of part-time assistant coaches, supervision of a junior varsity program, developing alumni relations, and fundraising to provide for team opportunities. In addition, the Head Coach is responsible for administrative tasks such as scheduling games, budget management, and filing necessary reports. The Head Coach must demonstrate a commitment to maintaining compliance with NCAA, Eastern Connecticut State University, and Little East Conference rules and regulations.

*Bachelor’s degree required
*5+ years successful coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level
