Saint Leo is coming off a 4th place finish in the Learfield Director's Cup. Softball finished #3 in the nation, while men's swimming finished 10th at the 2018 Championships.
Saint Leo University, is a member of the NCAA Division II competing in the Sunshine State Conference. The candidates must have a commitment to adhering to all rules and regulations of Saint Leo University, the Sunshine State Conference, and the NCAA. In addition, the candidates must understand and actively support the mission of the Department of Athletics and Saint Leo University.
Bachelor’s degree required. Intercollegiate competitive or coaching experience required for coaching positions. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills are essential.
Compensation for positions is tuition remission in a Saint Leo University master's degree program, plus a stipend. Candidates must be admitted into a master’s program at Saint Leo University in order to qualify for positions.
The positions are viewed as assistant coaches and have the highest expectations attached to them. Candidates must adhere to the core values of the institution and be fully committed to developing student-athletes in a positive environment.
Additional Salary Information: Stipends are $1,000 per month from August thru May. Six graduate classes each year.
