HEAD MEN’S AND WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY AND TRACK AND FIELD COACH- Missouri Western State University invites applications for the position of Head Men’s and Women’s Cross Country and Track and Field Coach. Missouri Western is an NCAA Division II member, which successfully competes in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) in 16 sports. Missouri Western recently concluded inaugural season of NCAA Division II competition in the sports of cross-country and track and field for men and women. The successful candidate will be responsible for all phases of the six sports including recruitment of quality student-athletes, direction of assistant coaches, academic success of student-athletes, scheduling, enhancing public relations, fund-raising, budget, adherence to NCAA and MIAA rules and regulations. The Head Coach will be responsible for supporting the philosophy, goals, and mission of both the University and its Intercollegiate Athletics program. REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree and NCAA coaching experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have successful coaching experience at the NCAA Division I or II level, prior experience in recruiting, fiscal management skills, and excellent organizational and communication skills and prior experience as a collegiate student-athlete.
