Alderson Broaddus University is seeking well-qualified candidates to fill an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s track and field and cross country teams. This position will conduct the practice and training routines in the areas of Sprints, Hurdles and Jumps and assist in the training of other event areas when needed. Bachelor’s degree is required and collegiate track & field competition experience in hurdles/jumps/sprints is highly preferred. The position will assist the head coach in all aspects of the program. Recruiting coordination and travel to HS meets, planning/implementing daily practices for jump/hurdles/sprints core. Working nights and weekends are standard and expected. Good communications skills and recruiting rapport with prospective athletes is essential and highly wanted.
Recruiting experience prefered. College Coaching experience is required.
