Wilmington College is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Research Coordinator/ Athletic Trainer.
This position is being funded by the NCAA/ Department of Defense Grand Alliance CARE Consortium grant for up to 2 years. This position will report to the primary investigator and assist with Wilmington College’s participation in the study. This position will also work with the athletic training clinical staff to provide athletic training coverage for the 20 varsity athletic teams.
Essential Duties: •Organize the registration and consent of participants in the CARE CSC study. •Organize the collection of baseline data for the participants in the CARE CSC study. •Assist the staff athletic trainers and investigators in the collection of post-concussion data for the participants in the CARE CSC study. •Organize the collection of an exit assessment for CARE CSC participates that are graduating from Willington College. •Work with the athletic training staff on providing athletic training coverage for the 20 varsity athletic teams. This will include working directly with 2 or 3 of the varsity athletic teams.

Ohio Licensed in Athletic Training or Ohio License Eligible
Master’s Degree preferred
Documented research background preferred
Previous clinical experience in Collegiate Athletics preferred
