Upper Iowa University is seeking a Graduate Assistant Coach in Women’s Cross Country/Track and Field - Jumps/Short Sprints beginning in August of 2018. The candidate will assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the program including but not limited to recruiting, travel, administrative responsibilities and other duties assigned. This position will primarily assist in the horizontal/vertical jumps and short sprints event groups. Previous experience in these event areas preferred. This is an entry-level position and one that seeks someone wanting to pursue a career in coaching.
Applicant must be admitted into a graduate program at Upper Iowa University and maintain a Grade Point Average of 3.0. Applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree. The applicant should have experience working with a girl’s/women’s organized cross country/track & field program (collegiate, AAU, high school, etc.) Must have an understanding of NCAA rules and regulations.
