Marshall University invites applications for the Ticket Office Assistant position. Position will focus on sales and customer service and will report directly to the Director of Ticketing. Responsibilities include being a part of the game day sales team, developing and implementing ticket sales strategies, coordinating ticket mailings, processing daily deposits, and assisting with game management at home ticketed events. Candidate must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in order to interact with season ticket holders and donors.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in athletic administration or related field with at least 1 year of experience in collegiate ticket office operations. Experience with Paciolan ticketing software preferred but not required.
Additional Salary Information: This is a ten month appointment that starts traditionally in July. The selected applicant will be ask to start during the first weeks of July with the appointment lasting until May and possibly longer. The compensation package includes a $500 a month stipend along with housing. Housing will be in a four bedroom apartment located in college housing near campus. Roommates will be individuals who have similar assistant positions within the department. Basic utilities are included. Living arrangements will be coed.
