The University of Sioux Falls Athletic program is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Assistant Director for Strength and Conditioning to help in all phases of a successful athletic program, for both men and women’s intercollegiate athletics. USF is a member of NCAA Division II and of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
The individual in this position reports to the Director of Strength and Conditioning, and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics. This is a 12-month position -- exempt, full-time, benefits-eligible.
MAJOR FUNCTIONS: Responsibilities include providing strength and conditioning services for student-athletes participating in USF athletics. Work with the Director of Strength and Conditioning on the development and implementation of comprehensive in-season and off-season strength and conditioning programs, design advanced training of student-athletes in sport specific performance enhancing workouts; educational resources on nutrition, and other duties as assigned and appropriate for the position.

USF student-athletes continue to be successful on the field, court, and pitch in 16 different sports with approximately 32 percent of full-time, day-time students participating in sports. In the last 7 years, our athletic programs have produced 102 All-American Scholar Athletes and 45 All-Americans. Over the last five years, the USF community has supported construction and remodeling of athletic facilities that now boasts the USF Sanford Health Sports Complex which is home to The Bob Young Field, Lillibridge Track and Stadium, and the only FIFA sanctioned artificial turf, the first of its kind to be installed in the United States for the USF Soccer Complex. USF track and field features one of the 20 largest facilities in the country.
