The University of Northwestern, Ohio is nationally ranked program and an NAIA affiliated school and competes in the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference. The men’s soccer program was formed in 2012 and has quickly become one the top programs in the country over that time, winning the conference the past three years and making it to the national tournament on 4 different occasions, with a berth in the Elite 8 in 2016 and a Final 4 in 2014.
This position is housed in the Athletic Department and will report to the Head Men’s Soccer Coach. It is the responsibility of the Assistant Coach to assist the Head Coach in all facets of the program while adhering to all University, WHAC Conference, and NAIA rules and regulations. He/she will also work collaboratively with relevant constituent groups. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assisting in recruiting, planning and conducting training sessions, scouting and film breakdown, game day operations, and daily general administrative duties. Goalkeeper experience is preferred.
Work schedule will be non-traditional in nature. Some evenings and weekend work will be required. Travel is required for team competition and recruiting.
