Wentworth Institute of Technology seeks applicants for a part-time Women’s Softball Head Coach to lead, direct and manage all aspects of our Division III intercollegiate softball program. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: identifying and recruiting qualified student-athletes, developing, teaching and instructing student athletes in the rules of competition, and in life-skills and leadership qualities on and off the field, practice and game planning, budget management, advising students on academic responsibilities, practice and game scheduling, team fundraising, alumni relations, coordinating team travel, and hiring, training and supervising assistant coaches. Applicant must possess strong communication skills, and the ability to work in concert with athletic department coaches and staff. Must comply with all NCAA, Commonwealth Coast Conference, Wentworth and Athletic Department policies and procedures. The position requires flexible hours. Must have valid driver’s license.
Bachelor's degree. College coaching experience.
