Northeastern State University invites applications for the full time staff position of Athletic Trainer. Work is performed under the supervision of the Director of Athletics and supervision is exercised over two full-time assistant ATC’s and four graduate assistants.
• Provide treatment for student-athletes and appropriate communication to head coaches regarding treatments. • Oversee sport practice sessions and provide routine and emergency treatment as necessary. • Perform administrative duties for the athletic training program including, but not limited to: recruiting and supervising staff, overseeing student-athlete insurance, managing third-party billing, scheduling appointments with physicians and specialists, risk management and budget oversight. • Serve as the NCAA Health Care Administrator.
National Athletic Trainer’s Association Board of Certification.
State of Oklahoma Athletic Trainer License required or eligible.
Minimum 3 years full-time on-campus experience in Athletic Training.
