SEMINOLE BOOSTERS, INC. has an immediate opening for a Graduate Assistant who will be responsible for managing the daily operation of the Nole Rep Program (Volunteer Fundraisers) and Donor Loyalty Program. Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving and serving within the marketing department, the selected candidate will work closely with the Seminole Boosters marketing/annual giving team to coordinate the successful operation of the Nole Rep Program and Donor Loyalty Program and achieve predetermined membership and revenue goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES (Included, but not limited to):
25% - Manage the distribution and execution of all membership benefits including team gear, auction items and exclusive experiences for Nole Rep and donor rewards and coordination of annual social for volunteers.
20% - Provide continuous information and support to the Nole Reps including distribution of introduction packets, quarterly conference calls, departmental updates and marketing and solicitation materials.
20% - Regular reporting of revenue and membership numbers for each volunteer and the overall Nole Rep Program during the member drive campaigns (fall and spring).
15% - Daily operation and execution of rewards program for all Seminole Boosters members.
10% - Recruitment and screening of applicants and interested individuals for the Nole Rep Program.
10% - Social media marketing of the Nole Rep and donor rewards program and periodic maintenance of the Nole Rep and donor reward webpages and social media accounts.
QUALIFICATIONS: Undergraduate degree required with experience in collegiate athletics development highly desirable; solid understanding of marketing and sales principles; solid understanding of customer service and service-based marketing; excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative suite; effective interpersonal skills; strong self-motivated work ethic as well as strong sense of team work are essential; excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail; excellent communication and people skills; and the ability to professionally represent Florida State University by demonstrating pride and loyalty.
Additional Salary Information: COMPENSATION: $1,200 monthly stipend for a minimum 25 hours per week plus tuition. The candidate must have earned a baccalaureate degree and be admitted as a full-time student in the graduate program in the Department of Sport Management at Florida State University, effective Fall 2018.
