Eastern Kentucky University is accepting applications for an Assistant Athletic Director of Development to assume an integral role within the University's fundraising team. Once hired, the Assistant Athletic Director of Development (AADD) will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major donors to advance the fundraising efforts at EKU, with an emphasis on gifts of $25,000 and above. The AADD will strategically coordinate with campus affiliates & friends of EKU, often in select geographic areas, to align work and interests as the lead development officer for athletics. Night and weekend work will be required, with occasional to extensive travel. Three years of work experience in collegiate athletics and/or non-profit fund development is required, with experience with athletic annual fund and major gifts preferred. A valid driver's license is required and all candidates must successfully pass a background check to be considered for employment.
