Frostburg State University Athletics Department is accepting applications for a full-time Baseball Intern position to begin summer 2018. This is a 40-hour-per-week, one-year internship which is renewable for an additional year based on performance. Hourly rate $10.33 with limited benefits included.
FSU boasts 21 varsity sports (10 men/11 women) at the NCAA Division III level that compete in the Capital Athletic Conference and the New Jersey Athletic Conference. The Bobcat baseball program is the oldest spring sport as it began competition in 1937, and the winningest among the varsity sports with nearly 1300 wins in 72 seasons. Frostburg has earned a spot in the NCAA or ECAC Tournaments 27 times and boasts 24 All-Americans. In 2015, Frostburg advanced to the NCAA Division III World Series and was one of the final four teams left standing.
Responsibilities: Assist the Head Coach with coaching and supervision of the Baseball Team. Help monitor and advise student-athletes to ensure academic success. Assist in evaluation and recruitment of prospective student-athletes. Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and one year of coaching or other related work experience. Previous competing experience at the collegiate level.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree and/or two years of coaching experience.
