Eastern Connecticut State University is accepting applications for the position of Coordinator of Student-Athlete Success, Employability, and Inclusion. This is a two-year, grant funded position administrated by the ECSU Foundation paying $23,660 annually for 10 months. In addition, on-campus housing and a food plan will be provided if desired. This position is supported through the NCAA Ethinc Minorities and Women’s Internship Grant.
Responsibilities will include developing and coordinating student-athlete programs, serving as the liaison for diversity and inclusion to outside constituents, and developing career learning and employability for student-athletes. The employee will serve as an integral part of the athletic administration senior team.
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree is required. Applicants should have experience in collegiate athletics. A proven ability to collaborate with various campus constituencies, including student affairs, career services, and academic advising is preferred. The candidate should be a self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills. Evening and weekend work will be expected at times.
