Reporting to the Director Athletics, the head coach will discharge the following responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of a competitive Division III women's lacrosse program. This will include scheduling, practice and game coaching, recruiting, budgeting, fund raising, and all travel associated with the women's lacrosse program. The Head Coach will mentor and coach student-athletes and will assist student-athletes in the development of lacrosse skills and an understanding of lacrosse strategies necessary to succeed. The Head Coach will participate in committees and provide service to the Department, University, and Profession.
This is a full-time, 10-month, term appointed, position. The start date will be negotiated with the final candidate and will be no later than August 1, 201

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Demonstrated record of successful playing, coaching and recruiting in the sport of women's lacrosse
Demonstrated high level of motivation with strong interpersonal skills
Demonstrated willingness and ability, to travel and work a flexible schedule
Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and work with student employees
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and the needs of diverse faculty, staff, students, and university community
Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues for program growth and enhancement
Possess current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification or ability to immediately obtain
Valid state driver's license
Prior experience at the Division III level
Interest in, and commitment to, community engagement.
