Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri, a member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference and NCAA Division II, invites applications for the full-time Assistant Athletic Trainer position. Preferred start date is August 1, 2018. The Assistant Athletic Trainer will assist the Head Athletic Trainer with the daily operation of athletic training services (including injury prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation), documentation, game/practice coverage as assigned for 23 inter-collegiate athletic teams, competitive cheer/dance, STUNT, competitive club ice hockey as well as coverage of summer youth sport camps. The successful candidate must be committed to fostering a culturally diverse atmosphere for faculty, staff and students.
Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field
Missouri license or eligibility to obtain license on or before start date or within a reasonable time period
Two to four years of Collegiate athletic training experience
Experience covering ice hockey
