Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
•Serve as the primary contact for select sports; •Record statistics for select games; •Produce online team record books, game notes and news releases; •Write and disseminate news and feature stories on KSU athletic programs, events, student-athletes and coaches •Generate feature content, video and other unique coverage for KSUOwls.com, the official website of Kennesaw Athletics; •Respond to media requests; •Staff home and selected away events •Supervise student workers and other event support personnel; •Facilitate social media in line with department goals; •Maintain website content for assigned athletic department units; •Work with appropriate staff members and coaches to nominate student-athletes for academic and athletic honors, scholarships and awards; •Other duties as assigned.
Familiarity with Statcrew and ability to keep statistics at athletics events

Ability to travel and work evenings and weekends and work a flexible schedule
Familiarity with Adobe Suite, including Photoshop and Indesign
Considerable initiative, creativity and independence is necessary
Knowledge of NCAA regulations as they pertain to donors and fundraising
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, Sport Management or related field.
Knowledge of Windows and MacIntosh operating systems.
Administrative abilities, game management abilities/experience.
Ability to use a single-lens, reflex camera.
Ability to shoot and edit video utilizing Premiere Pro editing software.
