The Wake Forest Athletic Development Internship is a three-phase program that offers a variety of learning objectives. Our program provides an outstanding opportunity to learn fundamental development operations from a talented fundraising team led by the 2015 NAADD Fundraiser of the Year, Barry Faircloth. Our highly successful staff has led the ACC in capital fundraising for the last three years.
The Deacon Club is committed to ensuring that each intern receives valuable experience through a variety of special projects and day-to-day interaction. Our program is designed so that each participant is assigned to one of five areas of focus throughout the internship: Major Gifts, Annual Fund, Donor Experience, Volunteer Army (leadership councils and committees), and Internal Operations/Analytics. While interns will have a specific area of focus, all participants will have access to learning every aspect of how a development office operates in a Power 5 conference school and will leave the program fully prepared for the next step in their career.
Now accepting applications from candidates interested in completing all phases of the program, starting August 1, 2018.
