Austin College , a NCAA Division III member of the Southern Collegiate Athletics Conference, is accepting applications for the position of head softball coach, instructor of exercise and sport studies and asst. director or fall recreational sports. Reporting to the director of athletics, the head coach is responsible for the direction and organization of the softball program, the recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student athletes, supervision of coaching staff, game management, practice planning, player skill/leadership development, fiscal responsibility of the program and alumni cultivation. Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology or related field.
Post graduate hours in Physical Education, Kinesiology or related field desired, Master's degree preferred.
