North Park University would like to take this opportunity to announce that applications are now being accepted for the part time position of Graduate Assistant - Sports Information/Game Management. This two-year assistantship begins in August 2018 and includes tuition remission, a meal plan, and an annual stipend.
Job Description: Assist in game day and facility operations for women's tennis, football, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, softball, baseball, and men’s and women’s soccer as assigned by the Director of Sports Information. Serve as the secondary contact for all of North Park’s intercollegiate sports. Hire and supervise student-worker staffs and interns for sports assigned by the Director of Sports Information. Assist with the development and maintenance of the Athletics Department website including the production of press releases, game day programs, special publications, and the webcast of live home game day events. Complete other duties as assigned by the Director of Sports Information, Associate Athletic Directors or the Athletic Director.
Job Requirements: Applicants must have successful sports information and game management experience. Sports related experience at an NCAA intercollegiate institution is preferred. Candidates should possess strong written and oral communication skills. Experience with Livestats and StatCrew statistical software is preferred. Applicants must be able to work an untraditional work schedule (i.e. frequent nights and weekends). A bachelor’s degree is required. A valid driver’s license is required.
