Quincy United Soccer Club is seeking a candidate to fill the Director of Coaching position. The ideal candidate will have the passion and leadership abilities to continue the tradition of excellence and raise the level of youth soccer within the club. The applicant must be organized and be capable of envisioning, developing, and implementing cutting-edge ideas. The Director of Coaching will:
Select a high level coaching staff which represents QUSC both on and off the field.
Manage the coaching staff to deliver a high value customer experience.
Liaise with local regional board members to ensure a collaborative relationship with United and core.
Develop community outreach programs including coach mentoring, skills clinics and camps.
Promote and manage a tryout process.
Positively promote the QUSC menu of programs.
Provide a high level of customer service to both the players and families in the United program.
Communicate at a high level to all QUSC members, making sure United is a highly professional program.
Submit field applications and permits to ensure club functionality.
Manage compliance of coaches to make sure each coach has the correct certifications and background checks.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications (willing to accept a candidate with less credentials if working towards their certification).
At least three (3) years experience coaching and/or administering within a Club-based youth soccer program
USSF "C" license or NSCAA Advanced National Diploma; National Youth License preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Additional Job Duties/Assignments:
Ability to work days, nights, weekends and some holidays
Must be able to pass a background check prior to employment
