The Tulane University Academic Services Center for Student-Athletes is seeking qualified candidates for one Graduate Assistantship (GA) positions beginning the summer of 2018. GA’s support all aspects of academic support operations, including but not limited to: Academic advising, Athlete Essentials 101, Life Skills programming, Objective-Based Study Hall, SAAC, Tutoring program, Testing, Textbook distribution/return, Social Media/ASC Communication, and special department projects.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience that extends beyond the classroom in the following areas: •Academic counseling and college athletics •Networking events •Campus programming •Career forums •Academic planning and tutoring college courses •GradesFirst database •Tutor recruitment/training
