Wheeling Jesuit University is a member of NCAA Division II and the Mountain East Conference. Located in Wheeling, West Virginia, we are one of 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the country, and we embody a more than 450-year-old tradition, conceived and initiated by St. Ignatius Loyola, the founder of the Society of Jesus. The 65 acre campus is situated on the Ohio River 50 miles south of Pittsburgh, and two hours east of Columbus, in Wheeling, WV.
