The graduate assistantship (GA) position is a one year renewable appointment within the Department of Athletics. There is a $1,000 stipend and three credit hours per semester offering with a working requirement of 150 hours per semester beginning in the fall of 2018.
General Responsibilities and Duties:
The graduate assistantship (GA) position will serve a primary role as a certified athletic trainer (ATC) to the Department of Athletics under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer and the Athletic Training staff during the regular academic year of August to May. This will include: August pre-season; semester breaks; inter-cession; and spring break.
Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training/Sports Medicine and be National Athletic Trainer’s Association Board of Certification (NATA/BOC) certified.
Eligible for New York State Licensure
Must be currently enrolled in the Sage Graduate School academic program and in good academic standing.
