Illinois Institute of Technology is seeking applications for a Men’s Lacrosse Head Coach. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of an NCAA Division III athletic program. Commitment to student-athletes and their academic success, as well as athletic success, will be the key measurement of the coach’s effectiveness. The coach will comply with university, conference and NCAA rules and regulations, working with the Coordinator of Athletic Compliance. Integrity and honesty in all phases of the position will demonstrate a commitment to the mission and of the university and Division III athletics.
The 2018-2019 school year will be utilized by the head coach to recruit a team and be ready to start their 1st varsity season of competition in Spring 2020 in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC).
The job reports to the Director of Athletics.
The anticipated start date is June 1, 2018.
Bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred.
Previous college coaching experience strongly preferred. Division III level strongly preferred.
Travel is required as well as the ability to work during “non-business” hours.
