Under general direction of the Track and Field and Cross Country Head Coach, assist with the responsibilities of the Division III Men’s and Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country program is in accordance and compliance with NCAA, WIAC, and University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point policies and regulations. The primary responsibility of this position is teaching and instructing student-athletes in the rules and fundamentals of the sport with emphasis on the horizontal jumps and high jump. Additional responsibilities include: recruiting, fundraising, public relations, travel, equipment acquisitions, summer camps and clinics and other duties as assigned.

-Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, Exercise Science or related field from an accredited university
- Minimum two years’ demonstrated experience instructing on the rules and fundamentals of the sport
Master’s degree from an accredited university
- One year of collegiate coaching experience
- Demonstrated strong commitment to athletes as students
- Demonstrated experience with:
- Extensive knowledge of teaching technical skills in horizontal jumps, high jump, and
- Supporting students from diverse and multicultural backgrounds
- Personnel Administration
- Community Relations
- Games Management
- Media Relations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
