The Intercollegiate Athletics Department at Purdue University is seeking qualified applicants for (1) full-time, 12-month Graduate Assistant Coach - Diving position.
Plan, schedule and organize practice sessions. Video review before, during and after practices. Pulling athletes in safety harnesses over land, dry boards, trampolines and water belts. Educate divers in the appropriate safety and technique of springboard and platform diving.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and admission to a Purdue University graduate program. Strong organizational and computer skills (Microsoft Office). Williness to learn different video analysis systems. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet established work deadlines. Weekend hours required.
Stipulations: The individual must have received a baccalaureate degree. The Individual shall be enrolled in at least 50 percent of the institution’s minimum regular graduate program of studies, except that during his or her final semester or quarter of the degree program, he or she may be enrolled in less than 50 percent of the institution’s minimum regular program, provided he or she is carrying (for credit) the courses necessary to complete the degree requirements.
Additional Salary Information: Compensation & Tuition Waivers:
This position includes a monthly stipend (with paid vacation/sick leave) and with full waiver of tuition, the general service fee, and the technology fee. Please note the tuition and fee waiver does not include the differential fee and the repair & rehabilitation fee. Start date will be early summer 2018
