The University of Virginia's College at Wise, a four year, public liberal arts college located in southwest Virginia, invites applications for the position of Head Coach, Women's Basketball. UVa Wise is a member of the NCAA Division II and competes in the Mountain East Conference. This position reports to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the intercollegiate women's basketball program. Additional responsibilities include: recruiting successful student-athletes; program planning; fiscal and personnel management; and community outreach. The successful candidate will be involved in additional duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree and successful coaching experience. A master's degree is preferred, along with collegiate level coaching experience and knowledge of NCAA and Mountain East Conference regulations. Compensation for this position includes a competitive salary with an excellent benefits package.
