The University of Louisville Athletic Department, in partnership with adidas, seeks qualified candidates for a real world, career-building internship modeled to prepare the next generation of athletic administrators and sports industry professionals. This is an exclusive ten-month program designed to offer hands-on experience and programming opportunities, which will prepare the interns for entry or mid-level positions within the industry.
If selected to the UofL/adidas Internship Program, interns are placed in a department dependent upon their interests and preference. They will gain practical, transferrable experience at a NCAA Division I (FBS) institution within the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The interns learn life-long lessons and create a system of networking contacts through presentations from industry leaders, business executives, and athletic administrators. Included within the program is the annual trip to adidas Headquarters in Portland, Ore., where the interns tour the facilities, connect with numerous adidas employees, and participate in creative activities which target the essence of adidas’ mission.
