Are you interested in continuing your playing career abroad and studying in London? The University of East London (UEL), England, is seeking to recruit basketball players for postgraduate study starting in Septmember 2018.
We are looking for players across all positions but are particularly looking for players from the Small and Power Forward positions. Players will also be able to compete in the National League with our partner clubs. The team currently compete in the BUCS South Premier the highest British University league.
The programme is one of the best in the UK, with a full support package including strength and conditioning, physiotherapy and sports medicine.
Our world-class facilities played host to the US Olympic and Paralympic team during London 2012, and are located 15 minutes from the Olympic Park. The facilities include a purpose built strength and conditioning centre and two basketball arenas.

Applicants must secure their place to study before being awarded an athletic scholarship.
The successful applicants will receive a reduced tuition fee and will have access to all the high performance support services, subject to meeting academic and athletic requirements.
Exceptional applicants may receive additional funding based on ability.
All successful applicants will have access to the US federal aid loan system.There are no restrictions on eligibility, regardless of how many years an athlete has competed in the NCAA.

To be eligible for a scholarship you must have experience in NCAA Division 1-2/NAIA competition. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or equivalent in a subject related to their chosen area of study. This is a competitive application process and scholarships are awarded to the strongest candidates first.
