The University of Texas at San Antonio Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking a well-qualified individual for our Graphics Designer III position. Job duties include:1. Develops and implements a comprehensive and aggressive marketing plan.2. Develops and implements intellectual property licensing initiatives.3. Creates and implements branding strategy and style guide.4. Coordinates on all video content published to athletics website.5. Ensures all social media outreach efforts comply with published style guide and other athletics’ guidelines.6. Aids in the coordination and management of special events as assigned.7. Prefer: Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design or a related field.
Experience and Other Skills Required
- Three years of experience as a graphic designer in a design group, advertising agency, or intercollegiate athletics environment.
- Demonstrated graphic design experience.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Experience with social media initiatives.
-Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Bridge or similar.
- More than three years of experience as a graphic designer in a design group, advertising agency, or intercollegiate athletics environment.
- Supervisory and budget management experience.
- Experience formulating graphics to support overall marketing or recruiting vision.
