Assistant Men’s and Women’s Cross Country/Track and Field CoachLafayette CollegeEaston, PALafayette College invites applications for the position of Assistant Men’s and Women’s Cross Country/Track and Field Coach. The position is full-time (12 months) and includes a competitive benefits package. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Coaching the middle distance and distance event groups.
Recruiting and assessment of appropriate student-athletes with excellent academic backgrounds to a Division I NCAA institution and assist in recommending need-based aid for prospective student-athletes.
Assisting in organization and planning of all practice sessions and competitive meets.
Possessing knowledge of and abide by NCAA, ECAC, and Patriot League rules and regulations.
Assisting in the organization and planning of all special events, fundraising and development activities, continued development of positive public relations with alumni and community and advising student-athletes.
Working closely with Sports Medicine for the care and prevention of athletic injuries and support the overall drug and alcohol education program for student-athletes.
Attending department meetings.
Performing of all other duties and special projects as assigned by the athletic administration and Head Track & Field Coach.
