The Softball Coach will direct, organize, administer, and manage all aspects of the University’s Division I Softball program. Duties will include but are not limited to: advance the overall program, day-to-day coaching, individual skill instruction, recruiting quality NCAA Division I student-athletes, developing a culture of NCAA Division I compliance among staff and student-athletes, scheduling competitive NCAA Division I competition, budgeting assigned funds, oversight of all recruiting and team travel arrangements and monitoring student-athlete academic success. Other duties include: serve as a positive role model for the student-athletes, enhancing the image of the university and its softball program, work to enhance fundraising efforts, promote positive community relations while serving in our community, promote and attend alumni and university functions as requested, and overall supervision of student-athletes and staff. Other duties as assigned by the sport administrator.
Bachelor’s degree; three years of competitive collegiate experience, or equivalent required. . A commitment to responsibly adhering to all of the policies, rules and regulations of Marshall University, Conference USA and the NCAA.
Additional Salary Information: Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
