The Assistant Coach for the University of Florida Women’s Lacrosse team is responsible for the direct and independent coaching of NCAA Division I student athletes. The Assistant Coach’s primary responsibilities include assessing and recruiting prospective student athletes, creating individualized development plans for each student athlete, contributing to overall game and match plans, public relations, promoting academic excellence and assisting at team meetings. Bachelor's degree and a working knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations is required. Previous experience at the collegiate level in coaching and/or recruiting student-athletes is also required. The ability to work a non-standard work week which will include nights, weekends and holidays is mandatory.
