Description: Under the direct supervision of the Head Coach, assist with all areas of the softball program including coaching and implementing practice plans; identifying, evaluating and recruiting athletically and academically qualified student-athletes; foster academic, athletics and personal growth of student-athletes. Assist the Head Coach with fund-raising. Other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Demonstrated coaching or competitive experience at the collegiate level; good communication and organizational skills; knowledge and understanding of NCAA regulations; strong commitment to the academic achievement of student-athletes; demonstrated ability to act as a mentor and leader; and the commitment and ability to work with a diverse student population. At time of appointment, the successful candidate, if not a U.S. citizen, must have authorization from the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services to work in the United States.
