The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Ticket Operations Intern, Athletic Ticketing

ROLE of the POSITION This position will have the opportunity to work with Outbound Ticket Sales, Marketing and Development. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: assist with day-to-day office operations; help set-up and run day-of-event operations for football and men's basketball; supervise ticket operations for designated fall, winter and spring sports to include Paciolan set-up and maintenance as well as on-line (eVenue) set-up and maintenance; assist marketing and sales to coordinate advertising, ticket promotion, and the creation and execution of a marketing plan for designated sports with the intent of increasing paid attendance and enhancing fan experience; contribute to the outbound marketing efforts through direct contact with current customers for season ticket retention, single game ticket sales, special promotions and special events sales; act as the liaison to Outbound Sales department by assisting with sales efforts, group coordination, lead generation, and processing orders; and assist with supervision of part-time sales associates.
QUALIFICATIONS This position requires a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university and experience working in college athletics or sports marketing organization. Preferred qualifications include: a Master's Degree in Sports Administration or Business Administration/Marketing with experience in outbound ticket sales, a working knowledge of Paciolan, Microsoft Word and Excel, Bi-lingual skills (Spanish/English) and proficient in writing. Flexible schedule which may include weekends, evenings, and/or holidays.
SALARY RANGE This position is part-time and not entitled to benefits. 20 hours per week. $10.00 an hour
