UW-Milwaukee is seeking applicants for the position of Head Women’s Tennis Coach. Under the direction of the Deputy Athletic Director and in accordance with all NCAA, Conference, State and Institutional rules and regulations this position will direct all aspects of UWM’s Division I women’s tennis program. This includes recruitment of student athletes, scheduling, academic success, administrative and budget management, player skill development, practice and game planning, opponent evaluation, staff supervision, community outreach and other duties as assigned.The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee campus is located on Milwaukee’s upper East Side, one of the city’s most attractive residential areas. UWM Athletics currently has 300 student-athletes participating in fifteen NCAA Division I sports as part of the Horizon League Conference and has moved itself into a prominent position both regionally and nationally.Interested candidates should submit a cover letter addressing the qualifications above, a resume, and the names and contact information of three references to Cathy Rossi, firstname.lastname@example.org Evaluation of applications will begin Monday, June 19th, 2017 and will continue until the position is filled. Minimum: A Bachelor’s Degree and Valid Driver’s License (must be eligible to be a certified driver through UWM’s Risk Management Office).
Preferred: Collegiate or professional playing experience and 1-2 years of coaching experience.
Additional Salary Information: Salary is commensurate with experience. This position is part time, limited appointment that comes with health benefits.
