Executive, Executive - Associate Athletics Director
GENERAL PURPOSE The senior associate director of athletics will be responsible for the strategic direction, oversight, coordination, leadership and active participation in the revenue and external functions of the Department. These areas include: annual fund, development, ticketing (season, individual, and group sales), corporate sponsorship and sales, branding and licensing, marketing and promotions, social media, website, radio and television integration. This position is responsible for supervision of staff members in these external areas while serving as a member of the Department's senior leadership team.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED Works under the general guidance and direction of the Director of Athletics.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED Exercises general supervision over the Director for Communications, Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing & Promotions, Assistant Director of Athletics for Ticketing & Development Operations, Assistant Director of Athletics for Corporate Sponsorships, students and interns.

5. OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED (5%)
QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree required. At least 5 years of related experience required. Understanding of NCAA rules and regulations preferred.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT Availability to work long hours, nights and weekends. Willingness to travel to away contests, NCAA event and WAC meetings, when appropriate and necessary. Successful completion of required background checks.
