Alvernia University, located in Reading, Pennsylvania, is accepting applications for the position of Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach. The Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach is responsible for managing all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse Program including, but not limited to, recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes and preparing student-athletes for success through practice planning, strategy development, skill instruction, and video analysis. Head Coach will also be responsible for tracking their student-athlete’s academic progress, maintaining appropriate records and paperwork, and ensuring compliance with all university, Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC), and NCAA policies, rules, and regulations. This position will also carry additional administrative duties appropriate to the successful candidate’s education and experience.A Bachelor’s degree and successful experience as a player and coach is required. Master’s degree and college head coaching experience is desired. The successful candidate will display a record of accomplishment “on the field” as well as “off the field” having served as a mentor and coach to successful student-athletes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate and be able to communicate a commitment to the mission and core values and goals of Alvernia University.
